You've got the basics down — now let's take your embroidery skills to the next level.
In this hands-on workshop, we'll dive deeper into the world of embroidery designs. You'll learn how to find and download designs from the internet, extract files from zip folders, and get them organized on your computer so you're never hunting for a design again. Once your files are in order, we'll walk through getting them onto your jump drive and into your machine — just like you learned in Part 1, but now with the confidence to do it entirely on your own.
In this class you will learn:
- Where to find embroidery designs online
- How to safely download and extract zipped design files
- Organizing your design library so you can actually find what you need
- Managing multiple file formats
- Moving your designs from computer to jump drive to machine
- Moving Embroidery designs from a CD or a jump drive to your computer
Any brand embroidery machine is welcome. If you want to see your design stitch out in real time, bring your embroidery machine along!
What to bring:
- Laptop
- Jump drive
- Your embroidery machine (optional but encouraged!)
