Let's make a Rope Bowl /MO
Do you want to learn how to make a ROPE BOWL?
Class will consist of learning how to make a rope bowl
Students will need to bring:
Sewing machine with table attachment
Open toe presser foot
50 weight thread in cream or color to match fabric with 3 full bobbins
36” square of fabric (batiks are preferred because they fray less, but any cotton fabric will do)
2 Denim needles, size 90
2 – 4 small fabric clips or clothes pins
100 feet Gypsy brand cotton rope (purchase at O Sew Personal)
Rotary cutter and cutting mat
Large Stripology ruler or 24” ruler (6 – 8 ½” wide)
Paper scissors (for cutting rope)
Your machine must be able to do a zigzag stitch.
