Have you heard of a Temperature Quilt? Have you always wanted to do one?
A Temperature Quilt is a visual snapshot of the daily high and low temperatures for a specific location during a specific year. Some quilters choose to map/piece the current year, others choose a specific year such as their birth year…it’s your quilt and your choice!
OSP will be hosting this sew-a-long “Support Group” to encourage each other along this year long journey. We’ll meet once a month and watch the video from Julie at JayBird Quilts and then share tips & tricks on how to cut and sew the pattern rows for the preceding month.
Pattern and worksheets to track the weather temperature highs and lows MUST BE PURCHASED from JayBirdQuilts.com ($24 if purchased before January 2023).
First meeting in January will be to discuss and help with planning colors and temperature planning.
