Longarm Certification Class/MO
Have you always wanted to finish your own quilt tops? We are renting our HandiQuilter, Janome and Bernina Longarm Quilting machines to individuals who have completed our Longarm Rental Certification Class.
The 5 hour class will cover everything you need to know to run the longarm quilting machines to finish your quilt tops including:
How to load your quilt top, Backing and batting
How to thread the machine
How to change the bobbin
You will learn the following Free Motion Quilting techniques:
Stipple
Loops
Stars
Meander
Straight Lines
You will also learn how to do an Edge to Edge (E2E) all over design using a Pantograph
Pantograph Set-up
Marking
Lining Up the next row
WE WILL NOT BE TEACHING COMPUTERIZED QUILTING
What to bring to class?
Pen or pencil for note taking, face mask, food and drink if desired...everything else is furnished!
All class practice quilts supplied by OSewpersonal and donated locally to various charities.
RENTAL FEES ARE $20.00/hour (after the Certification Class)
Rental Hours: Tuesday thru Friday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm by appointment only
