Beginner Quilt Class / MO

2025 classes: Pattern is Modern Art on page 15 in Go Bold 3-YARD QUILTS by Donna Robertson.
This is a FUN class and teaches all the tricks of the trade! This class is for piecing a 3-yard Quilt Top.
Size: 45.5” x 60.5” (approximate)
YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING SEWING MACHINE AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT.
Class runs for two weeks and at the end of that time you should have a completed quilt top.
Quilting and binding will be discussed and you can finish these at home or send to your favorite Long Arm Quilter.
First Week:
Learn to cut fabric, how to a read a pattern, sew rails, square up blocks, and prepare for your homework.
Second Week:
Add borders to complete your quilt top.
We will discuss quilting options
We will demonstrate how to make and apply binding

Sewing Machine with foot pedal and power cord (be sure you know how to use it!)
Coordinating Thread and bobbins
Basic Sewing Supplies; pins, scissors, wonder clips, seam ripper, etc
Rotary Cutter and Mat
Ruler for Rotary Cutting: 6 1/2" x 22"* (approximate)
