Fabric:

You will need 72- 2 ½” strips to make the blocks. This will be 36 pair of contrasting colors because it takes 2 strips to make 1 block. You can use all one color for 36 strips (like the white) if you want and then 36 contrasting colors or you can make every block different and scrappy. You will need 1¾ yard for sashing. You will need 1 7/8 yards for outside border and binding. You can also make the outside border scrappy.

Precutting Directions:

Number your gallon bags 1 thru 4. Cut out all of your papers leaving 1/8” all the way around the outside black line. Place all the “J” papers in bag #1. Put all the “K” papers in bag #2. Put all the “L” papers in bag #3. Bag #4 is for the sashing and borders. You need to have your 2 ½” strips cut for class. Just cut them the width of the fabric. I will show you what to do from there!
