This is a FUN class and teaches all the tricks of the trade! This class is for piecing a small table runner.
Size: 20' x 40' (approximate)
YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING SEWING MACHINE AND KNOW HOW TO USE IT.
Class runs for two weeks and at the end of that time you should have a completed table runner top. Quilting and binding will be discussed and you can finish these at home or send to your favorite Long Arm Quilter.
First Week:
Learn to cut fabric and piece the table runner
Second Week:
Add borders and pin or spray baste your table runner.
We will demonstrate how to make and apply binding

Sewing Machine with foot pedal and electrical cord (be sure you know how to use it!)
Coordinating Thread and bobbins
Basic Sewing Supplies; pins, scissors, wonder clips, seam ripper, etc
Rotary Cutter and Mat
Ruler for Rotary Cutting: 6 1/2" x 22"* (approximate); 5" or 6 1/2"* Square Ruler
Marking Pen* or Pencil* (frixion, ball point, etc)
Fabric Requirements:
1 Charm Pack of 5" squares or 12-5" squares (you can cut your own in class if needed)
1/3 yard Background Fabric
1/3 yard Border Fabric
1 1/2 yard Backing Fabric
1/3 yard Binding Fabric
