Feathered Christmas Tree Wall-Hanging Embroidery

Lean to embroidery this beautiful Christmas Tree Wall-Hanging using Sarah Vedler's easy multi-hooping method.
Supplies needed:

·       Embroidery machine and Hoops (bring the largest hoop you have for your machine – see pattern for available layouts for hoop sizes)
·       Embroidery thread – Good quality polyester (ie. Isacord) or cotton (ie. AURIfil)

·       Cotton or Polyester thread that is slightly darker than background fabric

·       Bobbins for your machine and bobbin thread

·       70/10, 75/11 or 80/12 embroidery needles

·       Pins

·       Tape (ie. Scotch Magic tape or Kimberbell embroidery tape)

·       Stabilizer - Ultra Clean and Tear

·       Steam-a-Seam Lite, OESD Applique Fuse n Fix or other like fusible stabilizer

·       Thread snips or small scissors

·       Tweezers

·       Marking pen

·       Ruler

·       Small iron (ie Clover Wedge Iron)

·       Fabric (see pattern)

·       Applique shapes with fusible webbing applied to back (There will be some precut applique pieces in various colors available for purchase in shop PRIOR to class)

·       Sarah Vedler Feathered Christmas Embroidery Design files and instructions (available for purchase in shop)

 PREP WORK PRIOR TO CLASS

·       PRINT AND READ – Feathered Christmas Design Notes and Keys to Success.  These files are on the purchased USB/CD

·       Background fabric should be pressed.

·       If you do not purchase a precut applique kit, all applique pieces should be cut prior to class.
